get 99 totems and wait for the patch that offers the trade just like the rest of us with bad rng.
Drop rate is low even with the buffs for current EX, the fair way is open roll since everyone gets a chance at it. While it would be cool if everyone could stay until 8 drops, some players can't play 5-6 hours in a row it might take to get that and I don't expect that either. For older stuff that you can faceroll like ponies/birds it might be more reasonable but not stuff that can take 8+ mins and definitely not the newest one. (I've done 46 seiryu clears, and have not seen it drop once).
Shameful? Nah. But doing farms recently what usually happens in lootmasters is the leader gets it first then disbands the party. So if that has a chance to happen anyway, you might as well join an open roll group, if the guy who wins it is gonna leave anyway, might as well get a chance at winning it, too. Makes sense to me.
I've lost around 15-20 dog rolls the past couple days, most people leave within 1-5 runs after they get theirs. I've only been in one group that actually got all 8 but it took about 2-3 hours of straight farming.
If you just need a bunch of totems is an exception and don't care about any of the other loot since lootmaster won't affect you that much.

That's not really a fair thing to say about everyone that does lootmaster parties. You can only apply that to people you've seen do that. What can be fair to say is that lootmaster system is not fair to those later in the party and chances are they will never get the mount from that group due to how long it would take. You could say it's ignorance on the part of the party leader but not always malice. Maybe some lootmaster PF leaders start off with the intention of staying for everyone and thinking everyone else will stay not realising just how long it would take. There is players out there who are scumbags who will make a lootmaster party just to loot and scoot/disband after the first mount but don't apply that label to all LM party leaders who may not realise that's its just not feasible to get everyone their mount in 1 run.Lootmaster is only used by underperformers trying to loot and scoot with a rare item. The only way it is acceptable is when you are running with a full group of friends that agreed to it or a static with a loot rotation/distribution order per role. Anything else is people screaming for other to hand em over a mount.

Everyone is in the same boat as you.The only reason i even resorted to trying a LM pf was because ive already invested soo much time into this in the first place, I have seen somewhere between 15-20 mounts drop so far and i have lost every single roll whether it being that time when you get nothing but a cluster of low rolls for a while or you finally get a high roll only to see someone roll even higher. I am a very patient person, but it gets to the mind numbing point where its like why am i even here. Why would anyone be optimistic in regards to winning a roll when they have already had nothing but astronomically consistent bad luck on rolling. It's just being human to be dissuaded in such a way i believe. Of course i guess anyone who hasn't been in this situation would have a different view and experience on the matter so perhaps that plays a role in some peoples opinions.
Everyone trying to get the dog has likely played it multiple times, seen the dog drop a handful of times, and lost every one of those rolls. They wouldn't be joining these parties if that wasnt the case.
So the question is, woukd YOU join a lootmaster party for it, if you weren't first in line?

Between everyone staying untill everyone get the dog with lootmaster or Roll, I prefer Roll. Lootmaster is scam.

Lootmaster wasn’t really made with dogs in mind. It was made so if you’re running a party and you want people to lot a specific thing that they will get it.
For example primal weapon farms, if you want people to join on their main jobs rather than the job they want loot for (that they might not be familiar enough with the content on yet), you make a lootmaster and they can call out their drop for a loot list.
People are sceptical of lootmaster dog farms because it puts someone that they can’t necessarily trust in charge of all the drops. And obviously the party leader doesn’t trust anyone since they’re using lootmaster to prevent people stealing.

I'm fine with these kind of lootmaster parties. Would still suck though that is a mount happens to drop, PF leader of a LM party will take the mount for themself instead of letting it go to a greed roll even with everyone there primarily for weapons.Lootmaster wasn’t really made with dogs in mind. Yes, the only reason to join one of these, is if you purely only need totems.

Guess you can buy the mount then? Or just join a LM party yourself, least won't get harassed that way and fills fasterThe only reason i even resorted to trying a LM pf was because ive already invested soo much time into this in the first place, I have seen somewhere between 15-20 mounts drop so far and i have lost every single roll whether it being that time when you get nothing but a cluster of low rolls for a while or you finally get a high roll only to see someone roll even higher.
