    I really should have said that they are likely tabletop items. I was mostly basing it off of the size of the stuffed animals, though looking again at the image I can see that they're a new "pile of stuffed animals" furnishing, and not the existing ones.

    Still, should be pretty easy to do, considering the new loft is most likely a table item. We can just slot it in as the final step on the most recent floating stuff glitch.

    There's also the new inventory glitch with which you can float rugs and ground furniture as long as they are high enough

    I'm not sure if she posted it here or not, but over on FFXIV Hydaelyn Housing FB group one of our members did a really detailed guide on it if you want to join us and check it out.

    If you're on PC, it might be easier to watch this. It's the same guide/ glitch. Just in one video she's using a controller (while floating a troupe stage) and the other she uses PC controls. Also, if you're interested she did a pretty detailed spreadsheet that tells you how high items have to be before they'll "stick" aka not snap back to the floor.

    There also appears to be a maximum height you can float items if you're not on the top floor.

    I'm trying to create a lower ceiling for part of my ground floor. When I tried to float my Combed Wool Rug higher than this, it would snap to the upper floor.

    I'm not certain what would happen on the upper floor. Hopefully it would stay in place without having yet another floor above it to snap to. I may end up switching around my floor plans if that's the case because this is lower than what I wanted (even if it would create a handy hidden storage space)

    This is likely happening for the same reason wall mounted items that are floated will snap back to the wall. The game is trying to find a normal anchor for it and you're just close enough. On the top floor that probably wouldn't happen.

    re: getting under staircase
    5 ages seems to have an invisible region below it now where you bonk into it early and just get repelled.
    not feeling any stickiness anymore
    may still be possible with other items, dunno

    What did you use to get the wool rug that high? I don't need it THAT high, but I can only get it to the height of an Ash Cabinet (shorter than the Riviera wardrobe in your image), and only need it a smidge higher, so the loft can actually fit underneath it. For some reason, I can't get wardrobes, bookshelves or cupboards to work with floating the rug, but I can use other items pretty reliably (fireplaces, tables, cabinets, etc).

    Does the Riviera Shelf work with the rug? I see a stage panel in your image. Does it have to move in small increments with the shelf?

    Sorry for all the questions lol ^^;
