    Learning blu spells will always be rng its the main reason why so many ppl like blu. But in ffxiv this shits too fast i want to spend 6 hours trying to learn headbutt

    Blue Magic wasn't always RNG. I don't use it much in other FFs, but in FFIX I'm pretty sure that, if you're able to eat an enemy that has a blue magic skill (even if it hasn't used said skill), you'll just 100% get it.

    This is very true, the only rng in BLU was getting to mob to target the person with learn, but most the skills were aoe so that mitigated it. It was only ffXI where it was rng, because MMO's. All other BLU's is 100% learn if the condition was met
