Chocobo skill

So, does anyone know what this skill/trait does now?





Way I see it, there are 2 likely possibilities.

Option 1. It does nothing anymore, it's just in the way to getting other stuff.

Option 2. Maybe it gives direct hit? Accuracy on all old gear became direct hit, maybe this choco action got changed to DH too and the description just needs updating?

Anyway, clarification would be nice.

well, it increases accuracy!
accuracy didn't disappear. It got changed to be affected by level only on player cases. Same level as enemy = 100% accuracy.
If you are under level compared to your enemy, you have less accuracy.

so with that skill, the chocobo has an easier time hitting enemies higher level that itself.

Oh, that's kind of a rubbish skill then, especially as it's repeated in all three skill lines. It's very clearly a relic from when accuracy was both important and something the player had some control over, it should IMHO be updated to something else.

I mean, I've been playing a long ass time and the point of it clearly eluded me when I noticed it .

It isn't going to do much if you're fighting enemies of equal or lesser level because you and your berd are going to have 100% accuracy anyway. It probably should have got changed to direct hit like everything else in SB, and this was likely an oversight due to the devs no longer really caring about the companion system.
