I'm loving it for what it is, but I just had one big wish, that since Eureka uses a separate leveling system, that BLU could be able to get in there at lv50...
It seems perfectly tailored for them.

Putting Glower, which is required to finish the BLU story and access the Carnivale, behind RNG was a terrible idea. I've done 13 runs so far, no Glower. Bad luck? Yes. Bad Design? Yes.
I'm of the exact same thought: i mean I had zero expectations for this class to be any good to begin with, but now that I see that more than half of the spellbook is from dungeons which i cannot access by myself - because FIRST LIMITED CLASS - I just can't be bothered to go there at all. And what's funny is that I just read a comment saying that we can't use squadrons for doing dungeons with Blue mage, which is ludicrous to say the least as it would've made the chore less annoying, but nope: gotta beg a tank and a healer for doing that dungeon run and eventually those primals that are long dead, in a desperate attempt to give them some relevance.Meh, it’ll be good fun for many people for a bit, but as for me I won’t even be unlocking it for the time being. It looks like most of the abilities in this “solo” job require access to party content, but since you can’t use duty finder that leaves people like me who don’t have a group to play with trying to hope for help on party finder. I would imagine right now directly after release maybe that wouldn’t be too daunting a task, but soon enough blu hype will have died down and no one will want to bother anymore, and blu will become pretty much dead content for many people who don’t have dedicated groups. I’m not in the mood to try to rush before interest inevitably wanes, so I plan to wait and see if trusts will make this content any more doable. If not, oh well, everything can’t be for everyone, and it’s good it’s enjoyable for a lot of people. I just hope they don’t continue to add jobs that are essentially a rush to beat obsolescence.
I mean unless blu can flat out solo a lot of the content at whatever power level it has upon needing to access said content....
On the other hand, I'm afraid SE will see this launch as a huge success and due to their absolute lack of understanding of feedback, we'll be getting more and more of these so "please look forward to it!"
I've run Tam-Tara solo unsyched at lvl 20 (dungeon is level 16)with no issues. No need for a party or squadron. Might not work for all dungeons, but most do.I'm of the exact same thought: i mean I had zero expectations for this class to be any good to begin with, but now that I see that more than half of the spellbook is from dungeons which i cannot access by myself - because FIRST LIMITED CLASS - I just can't be bothered to go there at all. So you're saying they put time, effort and resources into creating content for solo players, in order to give us good rewards, instead of, ya know, simply adjusting rewards for current content?

There's only 31 dungeons in ARR so you're not talking about dungeons. I'm close to 20 skills, and I've only had to go into a dungeon for 1 so far. So you're definitely exaggerating.
The person I quoted only mentioned dungeons, and squadrons can't do trials anyway. So I don't know what the point in this is.
I don't think it's meant to be a solo job, it's meant to be a job that encourages people to join parties for the most efficient way of gaining their skills. (eg. four BLUs in one dungeon together, instead of each trying to solo it for the same end result.)
Sticky Tongue is the single best ability in the game. First off all, it's just funny to use Sticky Tongue. Second, and most important, it's very cathartic. I remember running through Mor Dhona for the MSQ and being stopped by the dumb frogs. Now I can to be the dumb frog and lick all the monsters.
