SE Needs A New Policy On Griefing

Me and my boyfriend played this afternoon and got a bunch of BLU spells from overworld mobs. Never had any issues or saw any issues much.

Everyone seemed to mostly be working together and trying their best not to kill mobs until it uses the ability/spell. I mean once in awhile one got killed, but it just happens sometimes. Learned spells easily just some were a bit time consuming.

They don't need to do that, they only need to design content that doesn't need to share enemies between players !
The whole hunt content wasn't enough ? NO they decided to release a new job whose purpose is to learn skill from enemies, and they didn't think that the dumb EU/US community of players would mess the whole thing ?
Maybe in the japanese worlds, people are waiting patiently or doing things normally but SE should stop designing content while taking only japan players into account...

Last night, majority of the BLU's learning Self-Destruct were requesting (some were kind about it, others less so) this one person to either despawn their chocobo, or put it in healer stance. This person refused (they shouted out "F no"). Their chocobo would stun/auto-attack the bombs to death every single time.

You're on Hyperion like me, were you there? Then you should have seen the blame game going on! Every single person was getting reported, apparently, according to them. I'm sure dozens of "griefer" reports to square enix is really gonna go over well.

I was there, yes (though I left after I finally learned the spell). Your attitude really didn't help you, though. If you had just despawned your chocobo or put it on healer stance, as well as not make silly excuses in a "why should I" way, you would not have been the main target of those shouts. Your chocobo did kill a few of those bombs, including the one in a corner where the BLU's were just auto-attacking/using Blood Drain.

I just hope that Dalvag is the only Hunt they put Blue Magic on ever. Though, I will give them props for not sticking spells on an A or S-Rank and for also having the Final Sting/Self-Destruct adds available in dungeons.

I think you can probably learn Loom from Tam-Tara Hard and Lost City as well.

It's not only that. There's an EXP cheese thing going on to where if you kill a mob as a capped job then quickly swap to blu, blu will get the exp. I witnessed this through several people and tested it on one mob myself just to be sure. Over half the "griefers" in the higher level zones are actually just doing this exploit which...for the love of god, why don't you do it in a place where people aren't trying to learn a spell. There was this one dude just swapping to RDM and killing the special mobs and even Dalvag in Northern Thanalan in one shot before anyone could get their spells.

You know, every time I find a new restriction to some system in the game that doesn't exist in any other MMO, it really annoys me. But then I think, "It's probably because some morons were exploiting/griefing."

This thread is proof positive. The next restriction will be you can't kill mobs more than five levels lower than you unless you sync down to their level. Or some crap like that. Thanks guys.

On Sarg right now 70s are running around Mor Dhona and North Thanalan killing everything before ppl lvling or learning spells can. They are literally running in circles on the same path killing things as they spawn. A lot of them are from the same FC it seems so its an organized troll
