I wonder what he dislikes about closed server state? It's one of the things I prefer with FF to other games, the fact it still has that server community, where you recognize, make friends and get to know other people on your server. Compared to something like WoW with sharding and cross-realm where other players might as well be NPC's, who get in your way and you'll never see again.

It's interesting there's a 2000 S achievement in the game though. The achievement ties in perfectly with the current system but even then can take years. Under the "intended" system it simply wouldn't be viable.

This makes me angry on so many levels. Just because of some people that ruin The Hunt and SE not acknowledging their broken system .. creators and theorycrafters/-testers like you stop working on something they like working on. It sucks.

On the recent topic: very sad to hear, cable, your maps helped me so much, especially when i started hunting and even up to this day xD(F you churning mists/sea of clouds A placements -.-). Hope your trolls are just the usual trolls that disappear after a while and that you get better again!

I'm not going to call them trolls, as they still benefit the Goblin community as a whole, but I disagree with their methods. Very discouraging to see people who claim to be "hunters" rely completely on 3rd party programs so they don't have to scout. My feeling is, if you don't like hunting, then let someone else who does do it. Literally camping an aetheryte and popping a leve or two every 5 or so minutes until your little program says "oh yeah...its up!" is NOT hunting. I know there are a few here that will disagree with me, but I prefer to play a game I pay a sub for and actually enjoy it.

Also having your map data used against you (eliminating or "mapping" as some seem to call it) is just the icing on the cake. These guys (well..mainly just one, as the other seems to have a day job) literally "hunt" 24/7 even in their sleep with their speakers turned up...and were also using a trial character at one time to camp zones.

Please note...pretty much all I did was hunt. The only time you saw me in a dungeon was probably just for main scenario, though I did pop into Eureka on several occasions. I played this game to unwind from work, but since these showed up, all I did was sign in and either become super depressed or began raging. For my own health, I'm better off doing other things for now.

There goes my dream of an easier way to solo Nunyunuwi. During the FATE "Revenge of the Worms" (the reason why it's almost if not entirely impossible to solo him), once the big worm has spawned, that stupid thing is for some magical reason immune to Doom/Missle/Tail Screw effect. Meanwhile you can literally Doom everything else including Achievement FATEs. The heck Square. It's as if they did that intentionally.
