As for the reasoning behind why, it's because I'm simply not interested in making characters that look 'cute' or 'moe', if I wanted that I'd just play BnS or Tera.

Good thing there are bunch of "non cute" races to play in this game, certainly can't have options for other tastes.

What game are you playing?
Male characters have the least amount of "cute" options.
You have Lalafell and maybe Miqo'te depending on the face.

I would like them to make the current races more varied, have different idle stances, more running animations, more facial options, etc.

Its way faster since the model is already there and would allow for deeper customization, something i preffer over bunny races or ridiculous midget races.

I'm secretly hoping Feol is the other clan of Viera.

XII moogles would be super cute, too.

Feol are most likely the same size as pure-blooded Viera, with the main difference about them having a more Hyur-like face and shorter ears.
Anyway, Rava and Veena are more or less already confirmed at this point.

Wish they would just give us the FFXII moogles. They have a very unique appearance and would work with all the gear we have. I would fantasia in a heart beat.

I wanted playable moogles since FFXI was first announced lol. I didn't expect them in FFXIV due to initial races being adapted from FFXI. It would be fun to be one of those furry little "shites" that annoy a certain dark knight NPC during the job's quest line. >:3 Bonus points if I can constantly make moogle noises in duty even without a mog weapon.

Maybe not, if you don't want to define it as such, but the hours I spend playing around with glamours multiplied by the number of races I can play around with certainly adds content for me. I have four characters and they all look good in different styles of clothes, so another whole race to experiment with would indeed add content (= stuff to do) if I liked the race design enough to make a character.

How do you know what I think? Id love to be a short race. I just don't care for playing the one we have.
