also since some people are making the usual bad comparisons with raids again: would you be OK if the mounts from the final savage fight and EX primals only drop for the first 100 kills per each data centre? Well?

I would wholeheartedly support this. If they did this and took tweaking pvp seriously then it would be more fun. As it is the matches are too long and the maps are too big for front line. giving pvp a story line would also be awesome if they tied it to your GC. It's supposed to be a 'friendly' blood sport among the allies but there will inevitably be bad blood that will cause strife As our little alfy has explained.
There's so much potential in pvp. It's just not living up to it's potential right now

I think if Feast was actually fun and not just a bot/cheat/hack fest that punishes you for playing legitimately while offering no benefit to continue playing after achieving your desired ranking spot this post would not exist.

Yeah sure, let's go further. One mount drops from the first group to clear in the entire game. One mount for 8 players to roll on. It never drops ever again.
White Mage ~ Sage ~ AstrologianBoi if you got kicked for the same thing in over 20 duties I strongly suggest you think hard on whatever the hell it is you're doing
As I'm sure you are well aware, it takes more than one person to be able to kick a player from a duty, so in all those instances there were at least two people agreeing they'd be better off without you tanking.

Wolf Collars need better rewards to spend them on anyway but a better solution is if you make top 100 in any season you should be able to choose your reward, say you get a special token, if you dont like the current reward and was going for a previous one you could have the option to buy that instead. This is fairer for those who put in the work of getting top 100 and also the choice of the players. This makes it so that the rewards are always avaliable, you just have to participate and do well in a feast season, any other way is basically asking for free easy rewards.
P.S you cannot compare Raiding rewards to PvP anyway since both have different structures of how rewards are given so that "ruling out" goes both ways. PvE / PVP are fundamentally different and should be treated as such.

Feast Rewards are for people who are good at PVP and spend alot of time doing and i think they deserve these Unique rewards, World of Warcraft had this also with Gladiator mounts, there are plenty of gear in the game you can have and Mogstatiion items that make your character stand out.
Weird that we had people starting at the last week of the last season and they made it within the top 50 of that said season. Rating decay isnt the solution to keeping the lower ranks getting matches because the problem is just that there isnt big enough playersbase in PvP.

ah this topic, i've tried discussing this in the past but every time this topic is brought up it always repeats the same things.
get ready for hyperboles strawmans and apple to orange comparisons.
but so i am on topic i'll say what i have said for a while, a easy solution to this problem is in the way the mounts look themselves, if the one the top 100 people get is shiny or has a glow (or blood splatter effect) that is unique to them that makes the mount a trophy (think the whisper-a-go-go to the normal whisper mounts) the normal ones could be gained by playing PVP for a high price (i like the suggestion someone made of books that cost near max to make them over the max limit) to get the normal 'tarnished' one that is from a outdated season, while the top 100 players get a shiney new mount that is exclusive to them until the tarnished version comes out later.
if people wish to use raids as an example think normal raid gear compared to savage raid gear.
Sometimes you just got to have Some fun

Can we please stop beating that dead horse? Its half rotten by now.

Difference is WoW pvp has the population, and the resources that incentivizes players of all levels of play. I can get pops at 3 am on a weekday in WoW. FFXIV not so much, so options are to either rework PvP (again) or take a page from the Garo event and offer rewards that can only be obtained through ranked play that everyone has a chance at getting.Feast Rewards are for people who are good at PVP and spend alot of time doing and i think they deserve these Unique rewards, World of Warcraft had this also with Gladiator mounts, there are plenty of gear in the game you can have and Mogstatiion items that make your character stand out.
I think games with smaller populations should mimic systems akin to Tor, outside titles and tropes the mounts can be earned simply through games played. Even that game which has a small population ranked still pops well into early hours in the morning, albeit at a slower pace. I mean they have tried to incentivize PvP through top 100 rewards, and population still seems fairly small.
So what else can do they do? I mean the ideal way would be to rework PvP from the ground up, but I doubt that will happen. Simple solution is wider range of carrots that more players can obtain.
