Can we rework Wolf Collars and pvp ranking rewards?

EDIT: For those of you who think Ranked content and Ultimate are the same please save your argument. Ultimate content can be progged at any time Ranked content is time sensitive Ever heard of the Magitek conveyor? No? of course not! PvP is horribly advertised and no one knew about the mount that everyone expected to be a dungeon drop was forever locked away before it was too late. Don't come to the table with this half baked argument. They are not equivalent and not productive to the discussion.

Ranking should never be a restriction for rewards for players. Especially when the reward is locked to a certain season. Don't get me wrong. People deserve to be rewarded for they're skills and the like but I think when it comes to glamours and mounts it should be like wolf marks and Ultimate gear. If you put in the work you can earn what you want.

As far as ranking goes I think maybe a timer system (they get their items first and the rest of us wait for the next season to start to get it via wolf marks) or special color scheme for various items would be a nice nod to their accomplishments and maybe titles only for their rank with the exception that it's not tied to any particular season.

You do realize there's no degradation system in the feast right? Once a player gets to the top 100 (aka those who spammed the feast as early as possible) can just sit on their ranks for the rest of the season. Locking out everyone else.

And the argument you're thinking of is wanting to unlock ultimate without clearing Savage. And no they're not the same. You can earn your way to ult at any time. Feast rewards are locked out after the season. there's no way to get them otherwise.

I avoided making the point that pvp is in all honesty the most broken aspect of this game. But it is. They're putting glam's behind wolf marks just to make people play which is a minor annoyance considering the fact that que times are typically 30 min plus. But it's not Ranked and neither is Ult. Heck even the coveted title of Necromancer isn't Rank Locked.

I agree, why should I have to learn o12s to get the best weapon in the game? They should make it be purchased through tomes so even people running sastasha in roulette can earn it.

After the 2 seasons have passed (so the minor recolor version is also available) then add it to a public shop that takes wolf leashes as payment (lol). Each leash is 20k, mount costs being 3 leashes (or 2?).

Rewards dont die but they're limited exclusives for a time and also very expensive to not devalue them too much. The purchase method also promoting people to play the content that has to do with themselves (pvp wolf marks).


Maybe that could work for everyone?

People have been asking for ages to have old Ranked PvP rewards to be made available, mainly the mounts and glamour gear.


I think 2 or 3 seasons old gear (They just started 12, so that would mean up to 9 or 10), should be made available to buy, maybe even with just Wolf Marks.


But only any armors, weapons and mounts. You do have stuff like trophies as housing items and those obviously should stay exclusive.

Maybe make them available trough a separate currency you only get from ranked feast, that is also on a weekly cap. Might help a bit keeping queues alive throughout the season

I'd be all for this. I got into the top 12 or so for a bit in season 1 and started running into speed hackers, which discouraged me from ever doing it again. That and people win trading ranked party. Being able to get past rewards for seasons where cheating hadn't been punished would be nice.
