I was a little disappointed since I found out about this myself, since I was looking forwards of having the more feminine hairstyle on my main.

I thought SE had learned by now that most people don't want genderlocked hairstyles, majority of the ones they've released as of late have been unisex after all.

Honestly I'm thankful for gender locked hairstyles returning. Maybe males will get something interesting instead of getting feminine braided styles in the future. Last good hairstyle males got was the most recent pvp one.

I know people's opinion varies, but I made a list a little while back and I think there are more styles suited to male than female characters. (From the viewpoint of "Final Fantasy character design" at least, which is probably where the opinion varies on whether a style looks like it's intended for male characters or not.) But the alternative to releasing some "feminine" equippable-by-both-genders styles is to have every style be shortish and plain to try to please everyone at once, and I think their designs were stuck there for a while. Now there are interesting things coming out for both genders - and "the most recent PVP one" wasn't long ago at all.

If we were given twenty hairstyle options at once, it's unlikely that every one of them would appeal to a you, and nothing would seem wrong with that. So if we get twenty hairstyles trickled out over the course of several months, they still won't all appeal to you. It's almost impossible for that to happen - and if it did then other players' tastes are probably being neglected instead.

I fail to see how it's an issue if this month's addition to the list isn't what I personally wanted. Sure, I'll be a little disappointed, but there are previous styles that are nice, and almost certainly future styles that will be nice. Just not this time where someone else will enjoy it.

It's one item in the game you use it and you get the hair style for your gender. To have both they would of need to of made 2 items.

This does seem to be the case from my view as well. I feel that had I chosen a male character I would have far more hairstyle options to choose from. Not because of an unbalanced ratio of available hairstyles, but because it is far more difficult for female characters to find glamours and hairstyles that fit together. This is even worse if they want to have a more traditional feminine look to their character that uses a longer hairstyle that will inevitably clip with their glamour choices.

I have used so few choices out of all the available hairstyle options. A lot of that is due to personal tastes as I find many of the styles just don't look good on my Midlander. This is why I am in favor of more braided updos like the Gyr Abanian plait, and they should look into implementing more of them. Longer hairstyles don't necessarily have to drape down our backs to be feminine.

Waste of 50,000 MGP. I was excited to use the hair until I tried it on and realized they put a bunch of white daisies on top of the bow. Looks hideous, so I'll never use this style.

While I found the flowers to be kind of cute (though would have worked better without them), I think the hair overall has some flaws I can't stand - like the hair being, like a lot of long hairstyles, lifted up too much from the back and the front also looks kind of odd to me. Unlikely I will use it.

I never said they added them to our version. I hadn't seen/noticed them on the NPC before. I guess that's what I get for skipping cutscenes.

Still doesn't negate the fact they look terrible.

The daisies? I don't mind them. They give you a softer look. Alma was old school girly anyway. Can't imagine guys wearing her hair tbh.
