Unless you log in as soon as the patch goes live, you'll never make gil off brand new items (except the ones that require hard-to-get mats, like sub items). Instead, you start selling the components used to make these items; they're easy, so a lot of folks are just going to want to make their own, so you sell them the lumber, ore, etc. that they'll need. If they're anything like half my FC-mates, they'd rather pay 30k for mats than gather them, and that adds up. Also, it helps to anticipate what sorts of things people are going to want to "pair" with these items or use in new glitches (like, when the stacking glitch was found stage prices went up even though they're far from new).

It's not always from a vendor just because someone didn't craft it. Though SE did finally help people out with that by putting a "Shop Selling Price" on the item description.

Well that's not how I meant it. Ofc a lot of stuff comes from other places than vendors. I just mean when I look at the MB and there is a player's name under the item, I know it can be crafted. And then I check with my crafters.

And there's a Mogshelf ^-^ I am still farming my stuff, so I can craft it.
The sink I also discovered just a moment ago. Was hoping there's some kind of toilet, too... but I didn't find one, tho. But the sink looks great!

Just a shame it isn't dyable, but I think it'll function well. If nothing else it'll take the bowls and whatever people use for faucets out and save them a few slots.

Oh it is? I missed the little dot on the corner of it! I haven't made it yet so I wasn't able to test. Well! That clears that up nicely!
