As far as I am aware, they stated it would be purely numbers buffing for all the jobs they mentioned. Total reworks would only be made for 5.0

Yeah, that was my point... Any healing number buff to WHM would be unecessary overhealing, they don't really need numbers there (unless your party sucks...).

The only thing I can think is a dps buff.

Are we getting any new DoH gear sets or are we done with those until next expansion?

You can never be too certain, but I think it is likely that we are indeed done. New DoH/DoL gears were released in 4.1 and 4.3 to prepare for the new craftable combat gears in the following major patches. However the next major 'patch' after 4.5 is 5.0 which will implicitly give its own DoH/DoL gears. And if I remember correctly, 3.5 did not introduce new DoH/DoL gears either, so we have that precedent.

You're right, that's why I'm only a bit upset. Been looking forward to this class since I started playing. Blm/rdm/and Blu were the classes I played the most in ffxi. So I'm very happy to see Blu making it's appearance here.

It's side content in the same vein as fishing...which is pretty elaborate if you invest in it fully.

It is side content for me yes, I don't wanna derail this into another BLU thread but it is side content at the end of the day if you enjoy it you should it is something new but for me it doesn't hit the mark.

I mean FSH is the reel endgame, not arguing it's not side content but it's another theme in a theme park MMO much like Mahjong, it's elaborate as well but I know for me it's something that doesn't peak my interest either. I only resubbed for the story and the new 24 man raid honestly.
