Well, since this is a fairly relevant thread for it, during one of Yoshi-P's server visit Q&A bombs, this question came up:

Q. Will you ever remove the class limitations on glamour gear? My accessory slots are full.
A. We still don't have plans on removing class restrictions, but it might be time we should at least remove the restrictions on accessories.

Note that I think these may be fairly rough translations, and this one seemed oddly focused on accessories otherwise, but yeah, no plans for lifting restrictions.


And since it was also brought up in the posts above, about the healer gear being saturated in white:

Q. Is healer gear always going to be a white fluttering coat?
A. The style and line of healer gear won't change that dramatically. It's pretty difficult to differentiate.

So no, they'll likely not change the status quo.
