5.0 New Game Plus — Let me re-level

First, I'm just happy that New Game+ is going to exist, since I've been wanting to replay the MSQ. Having said that, I'd like the option to start New Game+ with just my main class at level 1, rather than with all classes fully leveled (creating a new character isn't feasible, due to my MogStation and event items.)

what? that makes absolutely no sense. that's just the same as creating a new character. how is creating a new character not feasible. you don't need any of that stuff if you're just doing msq on a new char.

I'd want this solely so I can unlock Dark Knight/Astrologian/Machinist/Samurai/Red Mage/Soldier/Dancer and set them to Lv1 to level them from that like God intended.

A shame they're missing gear options IIRC, Samurai and Red Mage at least have no weapons at low levels outside Lv1 glamour pieces. So reseting such jobs would render them unplayable.

Then why not all jobs? No job starts at level 1 at the moment because they're jobs and not classes. Blue is a different animal that is linked to a new system. Sorry just can't think of any Square game that had new game + that made you go back to level one.

Final Fantasy X-2. You could use New Game + to start the story over from level one, but keep all your abilities, items, gear etc. XV also has NG+ now as well though not sure how that works as never utilised it.

I'm not trying to damper on anyone's parade but I don't really get New Game+ to me this is an MMO and if you want to relive the story why not make an alt? If people like the OP are only worried about cosmetics then it's very particular on their end. I'm the weirdo that when I see an awesome moment from say the Drk storyline it's like "wow that's amazing I hope everyone gets to live this out" kinda like a one and done deal, something you got to experience through your own story.

I get people wanna re-live it but I just don't really see the big hype for it I know in some FF games mentioned above the New Game+ feature and that makes sense maybe I'm missing something because this is an MMO and I'd just make an alt if I wanted to do the story again.
