The furniture placement precision has also been increased. Currently, sometimes you'll notice furniture be slightly off after you log back in, because the server-side stores it slightly differently. But now, they won't move around anymore.
There are a lot of various housing bugs, but if it doesn't affect gameplay they don't mind letting people enjoy them. If it causes server issues, then they'll fix them.
Interested to see how it works. I really like the idea of having the interactive elements of most furniture available through the housing menu to prevent abuse, but I'm worried there's going to be some weird developer twist to make it overly complicated somehow when they aren't specific on what they've done. The placement thing will be a twelvesend too. So tired of having to do gap compensations after the original placement. Now we just need advanced placement options so we don't have to use the 'bugs' to get things where we want them and a blueprint system so we can save layouts.
