I heard from the Novice Network they are showcasing the Blue Mage, but I wasn't able to stay long enough to find out more.

A lot of the Gold Saucer games I believe are extra content tangentially related to the game. Remember, if Mahjong is introduced in Gold Saucer there will be an element of gambling involved. I can see nowhere else where Mahjong fits other than Gold Saucer. I haven't spent much time in Gold Saucer but if they do introduce games like Dominoes, which is another gambling game, I may spend some extra time there.

I'm already a big gambler in real life (Poker, Fantasy Football, and Horse Racing which is all legal in my state) so I can see myself as a Blue Mage really getting into Gold Saucer.

I think some prizes you win Gold Saucer is Glamour and I need more Glamour because I am not able to play Dungeons very often.

I heard from the Novice Network they are showcasing the Blue Mage, but I wasn't able to stay long enough to find out more.

They mostly showed off some of the abilities, including how to obtain them - you use a "Learn" ability and as long as you see the enemy use the action you can learn then it's a party-wide (if you have more than one Blue) chance for that ability to be learned, and apparently the chance differs based on the enemy/ability (Bad Breath was a 30% chance, a Fish Slap ability was noted as being 20%, and yes you throw fish at enemies).

Bad Breath was shown - inflicts poison, 10% damage down, 40% heavy, slow, blind, paralysis, and a 1 second silence.

Mighty Guard also talked about - take less damage, emnity generation increased while damage caused lowered (aka tank stance).

Showed the Carnivale menu a bit, there's an element of completing rounds under a certain amount of time, as well as a BLU focused challenge log that gives rewards.

Didn't watch all of it but Yoshi-P was hinting about adding Poker in the future and other similar games.

Also adding more prizes to Golden Sauces in the coming 4.5x patches.

Thanks everyone for replying. I have, have to, have point this out but the graphics on this game have always been excellent. This patch looks even more beautiful than anything I've ever seen before. The graphics just get better and better in this game and this only a patch. Also, I did not realize Alphinaud is probably younger than I thought he was. He is probably around the age of Nineteen (this is from the clip).

This brought tears to my eyes being a huge new fan. I love and adore the Eastern Elements of this game which I think were introduced in Stormblood but it's clear from this patch that game is going more towards the West.

I kind of hated Alphinaud before as a character before Heavensward where he really takes off. Now, it seem at some point Alphinaud can be a kid again. He's clearly not a motel kid. All's good in the Hood.
