BLU for Duty Finder and Raids! Show your support!

I think this conversation started when BLU was announced and we've come along way in a month. In that time Shadowbringer and the annual Final Fantasy event was announced as a much anticipated surprise.

Now at this point we know the new race Viera will be a thing, which I'm looking forward to. There is the Dancer Class and GunBlade class, which people at the outset didn't know if that was going to happen.

So, I'm happy about this whole discussion and I'm happy people brought this thread back. I think we've come along way as a FF14 community.

As a new player only having really played 7 before this I did not understand these were all classes in their first MMO which I believe is 11. I thought these were entirely new classes, but I understand much of the community that played 11 wants those characters in 14. As a new player I'm excited about the Blue Mage.

Now, the reality is this class comes out in January or February while Shadowbringer comes out the Summer of 2019. So, starting from lvl 1 going to 50 will probably take up until the time of Shadowbringer where I'm sure the class will evolve like other classes to 70. If not, then at least 60 where a new patch will update him to 70.

I main now as Monk, but I play all the classes on one Character. This character Hercub Cherub. For Blue, I'll finally start a new character specifically for BLU.

But what I don't know about BLU is what is the ideal race, astrological sign and other starting characteristics. I hope Enix releases that.

Sorry to tell you, but this most likely is what you can not do with BLU. Take any other class to start new. That said, i personally see no real reason in ff14 to start new charakters at all.

The Developers decided that BLU just isn´t a normal job and most likely will never be.
Im looking forward to see how overpowered (or not) it will be.
