Swords of Sand, we’re sworn to defend and watch the desert, and Ul’Dah. Commissioned by the Flames, occasionally we did the streets of thugs and the like.

We have an ongoing FC RP Campaign the we efficiently work people in and out of when they’re interested. The campaign is always evolving and allows for character development between RP events.

We’re ever growing, and a close knit group. So far we have one member that isn’t close knit, and that’s because he put an alt in the company so he’s not on to terribly often, however he refuses to leave because he enjoys what we do. We have an estate, themed rooms in the estate for RP/hang out purposes. (We have some players who have entered into and out of RP relationships with each other, go on dates, training sessions, discovered that they’re siblings, and all sorts of things!)

We host events such as:
-A weekly company-wide lottery
-Secret Santa
-RP Campaigns
-Levelling/Grinding Events
-Raid Clearing Events for older content
-FC Dinners
-Tournaments (RP)
-Working on building a PvP Team as well to win the Feast rewards
-PoTD/HoH Clears/Farms/Grinds

We have a Discord where we share stories, event ideas, RP conversations, screenshots, general chat, depending on what you’re in the mood for.

We also run content together and there is NEVER a time when you won’t be able to find help when you need it. A lot of our members will drop what they’re doing just to lend a hand. We have vets who happily teach class mechanics and content mechanics, and advanced concepts.

It should also be said that we welcome inexperienced players. If you’re struggling with content, we’ll help you clear it, if you’re struggling learning a class/role, we will teach you, if you’re new to RP you’ll find that most of our members will gladly work with you patiently, or they’ll learn with you (if they’re new as well).

We have a few simple rules..

1. Don’t be sleezy. We have several real girls in the FC, and a few males on girl characters, and they don’t have to disclose which one they are if they don’t want. If you are inappropriate or lude, it is generally not tolerated. The players who prefer to enter into IC relationships do so through a series of RP conversations in a tactful way.

2. Just be a cool person. Everyone would probably like to say they’re pretty cool, but take a minute and really consider this. Are you hostorically obnoxious and immature, do you have a short and irrational temper? Do you try to offend people and intentionally try to upset people? Is your only sense of humor all sexual (we really don’t ever have sexual jokes in public channels)..If these things apply to you, then don’t inquire. We won’t be rude back, we won’t insult you, or confront you, but you’ll just be ignored or eventually removed.

3. Lastly, the preferred method of entry is via RP is encounter. A popular one is to show up at the FC in search of work for the Flames, and hang out at the company bar. Get creative, come looking for Lalafells (we only have 1), come for illicit uses of magic, we have a deranged Mage struggling to control the balance between White and Black Magic, come seeking a wise Scholar, or an Imperial Engineer, or a Stoic Soldier who hates Imperials. Show up, look for one of our more prominent members (Garl Sirris, Cyrus Denmark, Ina Lurghu, Lady Grayve, Varyn’a Ashdar, Laurelise Lorrefaux, I’tsurgen Himah, Ka’rhen Tia), and start something!

TL;DR
We are a really cool close knit group, we enjoy RP AND content, we don’t ask that you be the best at anything, and we just want more cool and friendly people to hang out with.
