I 100% agree that the caretaker should hold your items indefinitely, or at least longer than 30 days. This is a really harsh time limit

30 days is ridiculously short. With such a short time-frame you easily run the risk of losing your items the day before you get your pay-cheque.

90 days would be far more reasonable. It's not unusual for people to be unable to resub for a month, but it's pretty rare for it to be as long as three months.
