Why are arcanists left handed?

As an arcanist you call forth from the aether an otherworldly being. Sure they seem cute and benign now but thats just how they get you to drop your guard. As you grow in power they begin subverting your will. One day you'll just be a puppet to the otherworldly creatures you thought you controlled. Basically you're doomed and will eventually go dark side, hence the left hand.

So Eos has been evil the whole time! I knew it, but no one believed me.
