I'm sure Lamia among many other things will be coming in the future, like Coeurls. A lot of the faction leve NPCs have really advanced-looking gear that you can't obtain yet, and some leather gear is spotted. I'd wager a guess that it's Coeurl leather.

I hope so, easily my favorite XI enemies. I just hope it's not Lamia leather that gear is made out of.

Lamias were definitely one of the more interesting mobs in FFXI, and I would love to see them make their return in FFXIV, along with Soulflayers, Iron Giants, and Shadow Dragons.
