let's be honest, there's only 0.07%-6.90% （0.30% in your server) players are doing raid now, most people have already get bored of it or have no interest in this.
this type of content is not working for most players

The issue with raid content currently is that it is way too much exclusive, in the way that you do need 7 other people (neither less nor more, if you only have 6 friends you're screwed, and if you have more than 7 some will be unhappy). If you'd increase the amount of players in FFXIV's raids (and especially by implementing some sort of flexible party size), you ll see way more people partaking in them.

I'm pretty sure there are a lot of players currently who don't raid because all their friends are raiding in "statics" but can't join because of the restricted party size or because they aren't looking for their preferred jobs.

Nothing is exclusive in this game. except perhaps mog station stuffs that people throw ridiculous amounts of money on.

Raids aren't exclusive they're accessible as they can possibly be. there is nothing stopping any player from enter any raid. it is not exclusive content. hellt it's as easy as open raid finder and press a button....

queues might take a while but thats a player issue not a content being exclusive issue.

I do however agree the game does need a lot more flexibility in group sizes. I have said several times it's quite anti social when you can't do things with friends. you either need to drag along some strangers who have there own agendas or you leave people behind anddon't include them. and i have often said i think this is a reason so many groups of players fall apart.

Back when potd added the 51-200 floors we made a group of 4 to climb it together and had several people saying they wanted to do it but sorry you can't come. and doubly sorry we cant go with you because we haven o empty saves...

generally the only thing that makes something exclusive in this game is laziness. people want a reward but aren't willing to make the effort.. at no point does the game deny anyone from getting anything they might want. hell it goes so far as to say here you go and hands it out on a silver platter with echos and unsyncs..
