Hm..real life is a very popular game.
About 7 billion people play it!

Although I don't really get why, because it's actually very boring, you need to invest an unbelievable amount of time into it, there are all kind of boring tasks like having to go to the toilet and stuff (well, it may be great if you liked the Sims..which I didn't).
And the quests are worse than leves in FFXIV, because you get the same one everyday!

Only a few players get the "lucky ticket" and actually get some storyline, for eveyone else, it's just boring grinding everyday. And lvling up is REALLY hard!

Graphics are pretty decent though..and costumization is endless
Although it may get very expensive..

OMG, and, can you believe it, they have this old-fashioned way of training your skills by USING them! I thought games got rid of this ages ago..
Well, after all it is popular for some reason though..

Yea I plan to kick em out when the servers go back up. No really the time when everything should be dying down is when the servers go back up. Everyone has work or something to do tomorrow so they can't stay.

I seem to be making a lot of people feel old and all I got to say to that is GOOD, it makes me feel young. =P

SE has picked my birthday to launch the patch! While it sucks turning a year older (going to be 19) I'm hoping to have some fun killing some fat moogles on my birthday.

While some of us may have concerns about the new patch there is no denying we are all excited for it. I hope we all have some fun when it goes live cause I know I will.

This thread amuses me. I was always the youngest in FFXI (I started playing pretty soon after my fourteenth birthday), though most of my linkshell mates were only 1-3 years older than me. We all joked about how we grew up playing XI, and we'd be the old ones in XIV when the time came. Seems I was wrong though, I'm still one of the youngest at 22, aha.

Trying to remember when I started playing FFXI but I can't remember the exact age. I think it was when I was 12... I think that beastmaster anti mpk patch came out after I started but I was still a fairly low level. A friend of my brother introduced him and me to it.

I was raised on video games cause of my brothers. I played FFVII on the playstation and at the time it was mind blowing. I was allowed to play GTA before I hit double digits. Parents really should pay attention to game ratings.....

BATTLE
Adjustments have been made to skill and experience point bonuses for parties with more than eight members. Party bonuses will decrease with each member over eight.
ITEMS
The amount of experience points earned through synthesis has been reduced.
No adjustments have been made to skill points.

FIXED BUGS
An incorrect value displayed when viewing the time remaining until anima regeneration, accessed via the /clock text command.
Personal /tell messages not appearing in certain chat logs.
Japanese text displayed in the trade interface.
