From memory, all the rings rotate separately, don't they?

I remember a while ago when I was trying to run the game Portal on my old not-built-for-gaming laptop, and there's a particular spot with a staircase made up of individual moving pieces - and if I looked at it, it brought the computer to a crawl, but looking away fixed it again.)

So, it could be the same sort of issue, with the determining factor being whether the 'busy' area is displayed on your screen or not.

I have bigger FPS drops with the exploding fists in v11s than in v12.
Sounds like your 1070 was a bad card.
If you turn off HBAO+:Quality, the FPS will increase a lot here,
but if you turn it on (Maximum setting) & using a 2560x1440 monitor, you are screwed

Same happened to Alphascape 1.0, if your Transparent Lighting Quality is set to High, the fps will drop a lot (I can't see any difference between Normal & High settings)

my 1070FE is super stable, it never crash , that card has no issue at all.

I am fine with 4X-5xFPS if the graphics are nice (FFXV etc),but this flat ground...

Dunno what to tell you. I have a vastly inferior system to yours and the only places where I dip below 60 FPS are high congestion areas (like Eureka, when I did it) or when there’s a massive influx of graphical effects (smoke effect from the fists in v11s, Magitek Bits phase transition in UwU, and these were experienced by my raid mates who all have better systems than myself). Lowest I get in v12 is ~55; I doubt I even hit 50 FPS regardless of my camera angle. And, as I said, I run ReShade on custom settings. No, not everything is maxed, but considering the age of my card and the fact to that I play on a laptop and still have steady performance, that’s what leads me to say that your card was either defective out of the box or started to die early. Nothing you can do; it happens.

I wouldn't waste more time complaining about how "flat" the game is though. The Devs have made it abundantly clear we won't see graphical updates no matter how loud we cry. So just play the game.

Then why don't you try my settings? (maximun+2560x1440) , & don't use Reshade
my1070 doesn't have any issues on other games , include Monster hunter world ,FFXV (~45FPS, but the graphics are far better than FFXIV),
it's the game issue, no card, I've said that even with my 2080, it will eats up to 70% GPU power here

I guess you missed where I said I play on a laptop - I don't get that resolution and I play with most of the settings custom or on max. Still don't have FPS issues on a card far older and inferior to a 1070 or 2080.

Just go play the game, dude.

Then why don't you try connect your laptop to a 2560x1440 monitor, with Maximum setting, & see how many FPS you get in Alphascape4.0?
And get a 1070 or 2080, & see your card is broken too or not?
BS is not fun, just a waste of time

Sure. Gonna give me some funds for these purchases?

Don’t play and just complain then?
Have a nice evening. Done wasting time on this.

So turn it off. HBAO does very little and drains a huge amount of FPS. You can get far better results using reshade. Maxing out the settings just because you can is why you're struggling. Even a good card won't be able to maintain a consistent 60 FPS because unlike say, The Witcher 3, MMOs have to load far more moving parts due to being a live game. With that in mind, if your CPU is lagging behind, it won't matter how good your GPU is. Your computer's CPU simply can't handle the load.

Seriously though. Go download reshade and look around for filters people have made. It does a far better job than maxing out your settings will.

I have a GTX 1080, 16GB DDR3 RAM, and an i7-3770K. I've looked down at the floor directly, never had my FPS dip (at least a considerable amount, since I use the overhead view for the stack+split parts, I think I drop like 1 frame). Use a 1920x1080 monitor for it though, and capped at 60fps. I can try taking off the FPS limiter and see how that affects things if you'd like. Since, if it's true, we should see a good strong deterioration of FPS even on my 1080p monitor correct. Although, it wouldn't be a dip I'd notice.

As I'm sure you are well aware, it takes more than one person to be able to kick a player from a duty, so in all those instances there were at least two people agreeing they'd be better off without you tanking.

Try PS4 standard, I noticed that the framerate in O12 dipped by quite a bit and had to set draw quality from high to normal... And that's not a good sign for optimization on PS4 standard... Not sure about PS4 Pro though...
