I have a brand new card RX 560 (not the greatest but 2x as powerful as my old one), get easy 60+ FPS everywhere else but here. But it's weird, if the camera is pointed toward the middle of the arena, FPS drops to 40. When the camera is facing the vastness of space behind the fighting, it shoots back up to 60. I dunno. Maybe it needs new drivers, maybe there's a memory leak or somethin'.

Yes, if you look at the floor in Alphascape 4.0, the fps drop a lot.

    No, it's not hardware issue,
SE seems wasted a lot of polygons on the flat ground

Even with my 2080, it eats up to 70% GPU resources, it's on par with the Shadow of the Tomb Raider, this is crazy

From memory, all the rings rotate separately, don't they?

I remember a while ago when I was trying to run the game Portal on my old not-built-for-gaming laptop, and there's a particular spot with a staircase made up of individual moving pieces - and if I looked at it, it brought the computer to a crawl, but looking away fixed it again.)

So, it could be the same sort of issue, with the determining factor being whether the 'busy' area is displayed on your screen or not.
