"“Huuuhh!?” says director Naoki Yoshida when I ask about this during a press Q and A. He seems surprised,"

You don't say? I wonder why he would be surprised being asked a question that most people would consider not only in poor taste even outside the context of a press conference, but also completely irrelevant to the event in progress and the big announcements that were made? Truly the great mystery of our time.

Who in their right mind would think that would be in any way appropriate, interesting or even profitable for their outlet? What journalistic value does it have? What were the readers supposed to take away from it? And most importantly, did he really think it would draw the almighty clicks to the article? There's a good reason nobody talks about MMO players pretending to bonk in chat - nobody gets outraged by it anymore. I keep seeing journalists and youtubers trying to make "wow there's bonking in video games!" breaking news again and... it makes them look desperate? It's like trying to get views by bashing Twilight in 2018. It's over, that train left so long ago you can only see it in the museum these days.
