I'm really neutral on it since the lanner's were all just stepping stones to me, In my experience it does seem like they all use the second part except his though >_>
but why in the world would you even suggest putting sephirot music on firebird, Doesn't even begin to make sense
I do assume Kyubi will play the stormblood variant of prelude, It's kind of a sweet thing having the games title screen music stay with you through the final big achievement rather than having to say goodbye to it
Yes please
Soken's argument is that :
- People want the second part of Sephirot to be on the mount;
- But then, people will miss the Warring Triad song;
Solution is easy:
- Put the Sephirot music on the Warring Lanner
- Put the Warring Triad song on the Firebird
That way, you have all the songs, plus the Firebird is currently using the default music, it would improve the reward experience of getting that mount. Finally, the warring triad song is used in Sephirot, in Sophia and in Zurvan. All three fights in which you need the mount to get access to the Firebird.
BONUS:
Some other mounts should have specific music. Like the Gil Turtle could be playing the Gold Saucer music. The Falcon mount could be playing the "Searching for Friends" (although I admit that this song doesn't exist in game at the moment). The Beast Tribe mounts could play songs that play in their beast tribe encampment, etc.
No, it's not. I don't have every mount in the game, but nothing else plays its track as far as I know (it's the same music you hear in the launcher; it's the remixed/extended version of Prelude)plus the Firebird is currently using the default music
Battle to the Death is really an unsuitable track for a majestic sort of mount like the Firebird. I'd much prefer they (re)introduced it in some other way. Making another mount similar to 2.x's Nightmare that played it would be suitable (it could drop from any 3 of the Warring Triad, similar to how Nightmare drops from any 3 of the first ex primals).

Two problems with this. Firebird already is playing a version of Prelude and why would you stick the warring triad theme on a bird where only 3/7 of the necessary birds are warring triad?
I'd be fine without warring triad playing on any of the existing bird mounts because they're already playing proper themes from their respective fights.
So it is the same as the Kirin mount? If that's the case, an argument could be made that replacing the Firebird music with the Warring Triad would increase the number of music pieces used with mounts.
All in all, I get your argument (and also Fynlar's), but I still think that the Firebird is the more relevant mount to host the Warring Triad music.
The Firebird is VERY slowly animated. It needs a slower paced tune, and Battle to the Death is far to fast paced. Prelude works best. You have to have the firebird to really get it. Trust me. Fast paced music will not work on it.So it is the same as the Kirin mount? The better option, as a few of us have stated, New Mount. They have the Ultima Beast which uses the same skeleton as the Behemoth. They can make a mount out of that, call it ATMA, and you have a much more sensible mount for the theme.
