BLU is only wanted to be a "normal DoM job" by the vocal minority who can't straight away go into raids with them, or actually have to play the game to get its entire kit. Try it out, then come back and criticize it. No need to assume the rape of your favorite job from previous installments just because it is limited in DF or levels.

This just isn't true.
I don't raid at all and I'm disappointed BLU isn't a normal DoM job. It's one of my favourite jobs in the FF series and I was looking forward to maining it and doing all my normal game activities with it (MSQ, roulettes with friends, weekly 24 mans, ect).
Collecting skills is fun and the reason I love it so much in the rest of the series.
I'm sad it's a side activity instead of a full fledged job I can queue with.

luckly only 24mans and roulettes wont work atm luckly u want to play with your friends u can do all the other content too and gather skills ...
Im not a Savage dude too and i will also choose this as my main, when i reached the highest point i care more for my second role ... like i do now ingame playing AST mainly and if he is done i care about the second and third job ...

This isnt a game where one character is bound to one class, now we play most of the time more than one job, i pay more than 10€ for this game ... which has atm 15 jobs this game is huge and has tons of aspects to play with

ATM no one can say where the jurney will go for BLU and in generell for the whole battlesystem and world.
Just relax and wait if u love BLU u will love BLU in FFXIV too ( trust Yoshida and his Dev team) cause u love it, no need for panic even nothing had already happened.

I have no question that I will enjoy BLU, but that will make it even more bitter at the realization I can't do ANY of the things I normally do with such a beautiful job.

You lose NOTHING by supporting people of our opinon.

I'm not asking to demolish what's been prepared. Masked Carnivale, skill hunting and grinding, eureka-esque leveling, we can keep those things. We can allow BLU to be the most broken job in outdated content. However, this doesn't mean we can't have a seperate set of traits to tune some of the broken skills down fit for raiding. Solo players can rest at ease, they lose nothing by others gaining. We can all win, we just have to convince SE of that!

Than i wish u guys luck, write a letter/email with clear ideas or start a petition for the BLU and hand it out to SE.

The most funny point in all the 1001 Blue-Mage threads is.... criticizing and speculating about a job no-one has played yet - talking about changes or even a petition without ANY kind of experience is just meaningless in the end... we don't need 2-3 new threads a day with recoms how a cls should be before it got a chance in the first place : /

Could be Garbage, could be fun
Could be lasting content ,could lose its gimick within the hour of 4.5 part 2 release.

People have the right to complain and worry ,alot have been asking for this job and its basically gonna lag behind every job with only the ability to do 5 year old Content and will probably be stuck with only HW content with shb being 2 expansions behind
You have to see why people are not happy with this choice.

The problem is that they've said it'll be kept at a lower level cap. I can't do MSQ with my BLU if it's 20-30 levels below the story. =/
I can hope that BLU will be fun but the information they've given is not encouraging. "Limited" is not a word I associate with fun.

we know at launch it will be locked into arr content
and we know they will slowly increase the cap
