I have 100k armor guild marks.... I hope i can turn them into seals at some point even if it is a 1/10 ratio.

After turning in a few stacks of branches, I decided to wait until I can turn in a stack all at once... That being said, I think I've got enough seals scrapped and saved together to get one promotion.

there are quest that a lot of people dont know about. You dont get them through you GC, you have to find NPC's in the 3 city's. They are the quest that send you to the strongholds to investigate. They give 700 seals each. thats 2100 seals if you didn't do them.

combine that with any new quest(if there are any, cant remember) and you should have a good amount.

they give 300 seals each actually, they used to give 600 when they came out because of the double seal bonus. but ya there are a few quests, not only the stronghold quests but others as well, not necessarily in your own town but give what might seem like a limsa quest rewards serpent seals if you are from the serpents

i just did one yesterday and got 700, so.....ill get the name of it hold on...Maelstrom Quest “Kobold and the Beautiful” Complete!, yea, i got 700 for this and i have in my journal 2 more for 700 seal each.

fair enough, all the others give 300 then (the non stronghold ones). but ya a big boost, the only one that is remotely tricky is the kobald one because you have to do it in the centre of a room with a fair few kobalds

Yea. To follow up on this, for those that don't know, www.ffxiv-db.com has this handy quest finder feature. Enter in your character id, turn off main story, guild and side quests and click submit. And see how many seals you can still earn.

For example: http://www.ffxiv-db.com/questcheck.p...n5=1&option6=1 (takes a few seconds to load)

thats why its best to get the quest in you journal and then hit the nodes when you in there doing coffer runs or something.

also all the 700 seal quest have you go kinda deep into the SH, maybe half way

I am, not like it takes any work or thought process to be promoted lol.

I did a few lousy Supply-trade ins as weaver.
Suckiets part was i could only trade in 3 hempen cloths at a time, and i only got 1 seal /cloth.

Then i realized... i was at 100/10200...that i had 10100 hempen cloths left to turn in...
wich would mean about 5 controller button clicks for each stack of 3 i turn in. (think it was 5)

If not mistaken thats about 3400 trades wich would equal about 17000~ times
i have to push my controller button.

At that point, i thought a <Facepalm> was more than appropriate.

....i might be completly mistaken about this thou, my math isnt that good lol

So...i hope the Dev team do something about this lol
