To be fair.... it's not really a mechanic that's explained anywhere else or intuitive (what other dungeon mechanics require an emote?), the debuff lasts a very short amount of time, and you have to be within an annoyingly close range to do it. I have it macro'd but ignoring it doesn't exactly put you at a huge disadvantage.

    "/rally <t>" works too and it's easier/faster to write. (^_~ )

That was the beauty of it. There was a mechanic incorporated in a dungeon, which made you think outside of the box in order to cleanse it. I wish they added more of those types of mechanics, to be honest. For me, especially as a healer, it was loads of fun running towards a party member who was the target of the Gremlin's insults and then cleanse the debuff by using an emote.

It also depends on the size of the pull and the gear the party member was wearing. Back when the dungeons were just released, we weren't wearing gear which immediately made us overpowered. So, when the tank pulled several groups and a gremlin put the misery debuff on the tank, he would get hit considerably harder, so it was useful to cleanse it with an emote.

Credit goes to Niqo'te for her fabulous art in the "Nique's happy fun time!"-thread and Nix/Capa for the Caitlyn drawing to the right. \(^_^ )/
Give her your support by liking their art!

Oh, I love it, it's always fun to have that little moment in a dungeon, esp when your FC newbies are like huh? I just totally understand why people don't know it's a thing.
