Viera Race "Confirmed" for 5.0! Are you gonna change races?

A cute bigger than lalafell/smaller than Miqo'te tribe


And the tall glorious looking ass-kicking tribe


Since it's said that this will be the last race added to the game, it would be very awesome if they add two actually different tribes with it (same as Hyurs). With this, both sides may be pleased; the players who want cute bunnies, and the players who want the badass bunnies

That smaller male one looks tailor made to be a nin. If I can get him with his ears tied together at the bottom, I can get my Usagi Yojimbo on.

I would be totally OK with that XD. But hopefully we will get small and tall versions.

Something that i also would like is a reedition of the other races. Personally, Sun kitties should be like Highlanders: bigger and with more muscles, with males looking like motherfucking lions; meanwhile moon kitties should have males as they are right now and bigger females. That would be an actual difference between tribes.

Elves should also have bigger differences, something similar to the High Elves, Wood Elves and Dark Elves from The Elder Scrolls. That would be cool.

I mean the story and now *nosebleeds* I gotta play it on my day off immediately because now I'm getting curious as to how different the ending is in compared to the other Final Fantasy titles.

I hope the "small males, tall females" theory is right since I'd like to seem them pull that off.
Also because I want the art for one of the new jobs just to be a tiny Viera dude with a big-ass gunblade.

It's exciting and I will definitely change. I am more confident in the developers being faithful and skilled than I am in a design that would come out of a community poll. Some people have highly exaggerated imaginations or remember things differently.

Even very tall Viera if you go by the official numbers will only be as tall as highlanders otherwise it will be unique to FFXIV only because elezen and roes are taller. If they don't have heels they might be shorter but I think they will have heels. Roes are just extremely tall and even Fran's full height with heels and the full length of her ears is still shorter than most roes. Roes are just that huge. If they change it so viera are taller then it will definitely be unique to FFXIV only.

Two clans with different height range and color palette would be nice too, they have a couple of clan names already besides veena and rava, feol was destroyed but it's a good concept that should get renamed unless they have Feolthanos as an enemy in the new expansion.

I prefer the cuter concept art because it looks much closer to the original in FFTA and FFTA2, more faithful to their slight but nimble build with typical jobs like archer, assassin, summoner, green mage, spellblade, and in FFTS onion knight and dancer. The nu mou seemed closer to the adorable original art with the protruding snout, droopy eyes and comfy robes, so what they do with the rest of the Ivalice inspired art direction is anyone's guess really. Whether they call a village area Muscadet, Eruyt, or something new I don't think it matters too much really.

If the viera hint was an elaborate hoax then playing as a FFT/FFTA moogle is fine too.
