New datacenter and its impact

I'm really concerned about SE giving NA a third datacenter and splitting up EU into 2 datacenters.
It will have a bigger impact on PvP than PvE. We are already a small community and this will drastically increase queue times.

EDIT: the majority of The Feast community will move to Light. Therefore queue times won't be as much effected as I feared it would be. Chaos will be doomed tho.

It's going to be rough unless they make it so both DCs are tied or maybe a top 200. The ranking system is going to be like minimum gold if DCs are split. Either way changes need to be done somewhere.

Splitting up data centers like that is going to make queue times unbearable...even for in-demand classes.

Don’t do pvp, but queue times are already quite long, not sure why they want to split up the population further. Seems like a bad idea unless they are going to make duty and party finder cross data center.

It takes 20 minutes to get a game as range and my alternative is to play a different role and get absolutely farmed, how does anyone think this is a good idea especially when we lack overpopulated worlds in EU.

In Aether, a big portion of PvPers are in Balmung alone and some in Mateus. With the data center change, Feast will undoubtedly be dead for good. Based on your picture which I know is true, Range will become impossible to play. It will turn many players off. Healing and Melee DPS will be the only way to Feast. And even their queues will get so much longer.

Well there goes my plans of sneaking into the top 100. Though more seriously this did seem to mess up there plans for a healthy competitive PVP scene as they have been havign enough trouble building it it up and now they are going to split it in half
