So, we're due some major lore revelations over the next two days. So here's a thread to discuss everything related to the expansion.

Garlemald is mostly black, the Ascians are mostly black, Zodiark is mostly black, and Darkness in general is black.

There's so many different people that could refer to.

That was a Kuribo, along with the lion from Lost City of Amdapor (HM). The gremlin trash-talking the WoL (now WoD?) was a nice touch, too

Looks less statue-y and more alive. But with that Lion and Gremlin I can see it. I just want it to be more. Seeing the stand-in character getting his butt kicked by a filler boss.

Remember, we had hundreds of red and white Hraesvelgr's in the Heavensward teaser. The cinematic team isn't the same as the dev team.

I assume the Amdapor bosses were being used to represent the light we'll presumably be standing against after our shift to being the WoD, though I kind of doubt the Ascians are going to be our allies despite that change and it might just end up with us playing for neither side.

Also nice to see that Unkhalkai is finally going to be MSQ relevant, presumably.

So what are they going to tell our character that they will change from WoL to WoD in 4.5 or after that? Are those monsters from the Lost City stand ins for an attack of Light monsters? Are we truly at the point where the balance is that much thrown off? Then what would that mean for our future actions, especially since they have hinted that we will take care of Garlemald and the Ascians in 5.x...(oh dear hopefully this is better done than the split of story between Ala Mhigo and Doma)

Also some translator on reddit said something about "could this be the eighth and final umberal era?" Wouldnt that mean that we are already solving the conflict at 5.x? Because there are still way more shards left.

I am honestly not really sure what to think about this.
