Nahh. Leave it the way it is. You don't have to have every item in the game easily available to you. If you don't like the rng then buy it. This game needs more items that only a select few have access to.

Please be bait. I really hope you don't think this way about an emote that only requires luck and a strong masochistic streak to obtain.
Assuming this isn't bait luck and RNG only make things artificially difficult. I wouldn't mind farming and working for it as much if I knew I could get it after a certain amount of time like primal totems and their mounts, and, oh yeah - the freaking Eureka weapons in general. Not knowing whether it will be hours, days, or months before it will drop is just painful.
Furthermore, simply buying it only works if, buy the time I've saved up and am desperate enough to do so, there are even listings up to begin with.
And why the hell should a dorky emote of all things be exclusive to a select few when items given that distinction are generally given as a sign of skill and not luck?
There's way better ways to make things harder to obtain than locking it behind a truckload of RNG inside RNG inside RNG.
I could understand it if we are talking about content that is hard and the price for this is awesome. But its just simply RNG, nothing more nothing less...that is not hard..that is just pure luck. Someone can go in there and get it on the first try while some may never see it even though they have played this for hours and hours. Also how should people buy this if there are no emotes on the MB?
Last time I checked this is a P2P game and not one of those F2P games that use such bad grind and RNG to keep the people playing or paying if its getting enough...
Well if they are not increasing the drop rate I just see it as a way to show that my WoL is awesome because no matter the cold, she never shivers.
Letter from the Producer LIVE Part IX Q&A Summary (10/30/2013)
Q: Will there be any maintenance fees or other costs for housing, besides the cost of the land and house?
A: In older MMOs, such as Ultima Online, there was a house maintenance fee you had to pay weekly, but in FFXIV: ARR we decided against this system. Similarly, these older MMOs also had a system where your house would break down if you didn’t log in after a while in order to have you continue your subscription, but this is a thing of the past and we won't have any system like that.
I like how you toss around "then buy it" as if anyone could afford it with a little bit of effort. On my server it costs 30 million. You could buy a medium house and furnish it with all that money, and possibly still have cash to spare at the end.
The whole situation surrounding that emote is just silly. Not only is the drop rate ridiculously small, it's in a specific type of content that will be completely obsolete after 5.0. No one is going to go to Eureka in the next expansion and I seriously doubt I need to explain why.
I'm okay with things being rare as long as there is a realistic chance of being able to farm for it as much as you like and for as long as you like, but this is not the case for anything that's in Eureka.
