We covered hopes for 5.0, but what are your fears?

I hope they dont make Content like Eureka. Really boring garbage. My hope is they make a relic again what makes more fun and not what we have now.

I fear they'll listen to comments like this one and keep the game bad. Having gear that is entirely obsolete every 6 months is a bad idea. Why keep playing if I can just buy better crafted gear every other patch?

I'd quit playing entirely until I had something meaningful and lasting to work on.

I'm hoping that they make PvP better, add some more skills, and add some modes with unique objectives. And also more than one or two PvP maps an expansion, but I fear this will never be the case. They haven't given us much at all in other expansions, and stormblood has been the worst so far.

My biggest "fear" for 5.0 is unsynch Ultimates tbh.

Poorly implemented ideas that sounds cool, aka Eureka. On paper, if Eureka had started off as Pyros with the unique abilities that could be found and discovered with more being added later on. . . they wouldn't of needed that lazy magicite system.

I'm afraid of them trying so hard to "innovate" that we end up with a BfA tier dumpster fire. Contrary to popular belief, you can try to make new things and they can all be terrible

I don't mind the eureka concept in itself, but they seriously need to make adjustments for soloing (diadem as well, let people in solo). The necessity for parties is keeping people out of the content all together, (in the case of diadem, completely, in the case of eureka you can get in solo then meet the brick wall) that's the part they really need to re-think, and in particular if its relic related.


Though still, the main thing I definitely don't want to see is yet more buttons.....

Why keep playing if you already have the gear?

Why bother getting the gear if you have no intent to use it?

Balance gets worse than it is now.
They dont rework DRK like they promised.
No new healer or tank job in 5.0
They add a new race but not new faces for other races.
They do a Eureka 2.0 and and yet again tie the relic to it.
They replace role actions with something worse.

But in all honesty I just really hope they dont do another repeat of Diadem/Eureka
