We covered hopes for 5.0, but what are your fears?

So we have all read the threads about what we all hope to see in 5.0, but what do you NOT want to see in the next expansion?

Is there anything that would be a breaking point for you? Something that would just make you sigh and hit that unsub button?

Frankly for me, I am scared we are going to get more of the same ol same ol but instead of being inventive and shaking up the system so many of us are tired of, SE will try to hold onto players by adding bunny girls and other superficial things, which is what I felt they did by fracturing the story to add little Japan in SB.

This would also be my breaking point.

I fear that they'll listen to comments like this one and make the game worse. Having gear that lasts for years is a bad idea. Why keep playing if you already have the gear?

I'd quit playing entirely until I had something more to work on.

I fear the new tank will be a reskin of the existing ones as far as gameplay goes. The differences between tanks should be as different as it is between melee jobs for example. Instead when DRK was introduced in HW it basically had PLD actions with different animations and names.

I fear more Eureka style "content". I despise Eureka and its why I haven't played as much as I might have in Stormblood.

If they release more Eureka style content and lock the relic behind it again that may be it for me. What kept me subbed through ARR and HW wasn't entirely due to the content they released. It was also in part due to the relic, because it kept me logging in almost every day to make some progress.

For me, I don't want to see a copy-paste of the same formula. I also do not want to see the Relic locked behind Eureka-style content again, as I opted not to continue when Pagos was released and that has left me without much to do outside of raid. I would like to see at least 2 Ultimates, and I'd like to see the ones from this expansion either rescaled to level 80 or remain synced (provided they don't butcher level 70 rotations by removing a bunch of skills again) - the former is more preferred.

If 5.0 leaves me feeling as uninterested in FFXIV as Stormblood has, then I don't see myself staying subscribed. I'd like more things to do other than raid and Ultimates, but daily roulettes can only do so much for me. Having a relic not tied to Eureka probably would have helped keep me interested.
