    That's a bit of a generalization, but if you follow this rule, you will get a lot more out of PI.

    By itself, SotL2 seems ok-ish. Just reading the tooltip without looking at what the other two healers get respectively when hitting 68, you might even think that you might get some use out of it, even if just a minor one. But when you compare the three, you're seriously thinking WTF!? The other job I level is DRK, and though they get an ability @68, their respective passive trait is gained before hand. I felt like what I was getting from the passive traits of the other jobs I level to be so much more useful. Before I brought out the tar and feathers, I took a step back and wondered if my WHM was struggling with anything at this point in the game.

    With my DRK, I was gaining blood abilities but the gauge was still filling up as slowly. With SCH, I'm getting more aetherflow abilities, but no additional stacks. With AST, I've become so ridiculously reliant on lightspeed that I almost feel like a SCH without any aetherflow when it is on cooldown. So the passive traits really help to rectify these weaknesses. WHM though? I don't find myself struggling with anything. I don't really need faster access to anything, stronger heals, or better MP regain. If there is anything, it's probably enmity generation.

    So while I could have got upset how it seems really unfair what the other healers got in comparison, I also reflect on my experiences at this point with all the jobs I've leveled. So while I'm not saying WHM doesn't need anything, I am also not as affected by the lackluster trait. However, if I was dev going forward intent on keeping lilies around. I would look at that whole enmity issue and see if I could do something with it.

    It's not that WHM is struggling with anything, but the lily mechanic is so incredibly bland compared to the other healers. There are no dedicated abilities tied to lilies. The abilities that do generate lilies are ones you normally want to avoid because those GCDs are better spent on area heals, applying HoTs or DPSing. When you do get lilies you have basically no control over what to spend them on; it won't do to hold off using tetra or assize because you'd rather apply the cooldown reduction to asylum but the current situation does not call for it. And when the situation calls for asylum you want to cast it now, not after spending three GCDs on cures to generate lilies. You end up just not paying any attention to the lilies most of the time.

    The point isn't that WHM is hurting because of the trait, it's simply the fact that it's extremely underwhelming and not noticable to anyone who plays WHM. If you take it a step further and compare it to the other healers, which you should be doing, it's even worse because every other trait benefits the job's playstyle and augments then somehow.

    Something interesting actually, most WHMs that I talk to actually forgot this trait even existed, and they main WHM. That's really saying something I'd say.
    Things really shouldn't stay this way, regardless if the job isn't being negatively effected by it or not. This is on top of the generally useless lily system too, WHM is just topped with useless gimmicks that doesn't help them at all.

    Part of the reason the SCH and AST traits are as good as they are is that they accelerate SCH and AST's MP regeneration at a guaranteed but limited manner. SotL II instead follows in Freecure's footsteps with an RNG proc, that is then further gated by critting with Cure I/II, and it just accelerates one of two cooldowns. One of those is Assize, which might've been okay if that proc only affected it, but the other is Asylum, one of the most notoriously difficult skills to get any value of except as a tank regen, sometimes, at least when compared to its competitors.

    I almost wish Freecure was expanded to work on more spells by this trait instead, but really, it needs to actually live up to its namesake, and do something to affect Lily generation. In my opinion, Medica & Cure III should be the target for this.

    Honestly, I'm hoping lilies get a full overhaul in 5.0. WHM plays fine, but that doesn't make lilies a fun job mechanic. They are basically a passive effect I pay zero attention to currently.
