A new Patch but no Machinist adjustments.

yeah or you know SE could just for once do some kind of adjustments for the sake of making the Job playable? at this point I don't care anymore. I played MCH since 4.0 literally until a few weeks ago where I just gave in and started with bard.

And we are approaching the end of the 4.X so there won't be any major job changes coming in 4.5 either. Minor QoL changes and maybe some buffs.
Your best chance is 5.0

Not that i do not feel sorry for the mach out there, but look how long it had taken to make actual changes to Red Mage.
They may have time before 5.0 to change things, question is if they will i suppose

all job reworks will not take place until 5.0. you may see a tweak here and there for pvp until then but don't expect much right now.

I can wait until 5.0 for a fix to the excessive clunkiness that is the job right now, but the whole trash dps with over 80 ping is absurd... That I wish I had some sort of bandaid.

Sweeping changes would be nice, but aren't needed to just make it playable. It can't be hard to do something like change the timer on Wildfire to instead affect X number of attacks. Ammo already works that way. They could also condense the flamethrower ticks a bit so you aren't standing still as long.
