I'd pretty much given up on Pagos but a friend insisted it's not so bad & offered to taxi me about over the weekend.

I can agree that it's not so terrible once you get to level 32, but until you can use both aetherytes it's brutal. Missing FATE after FATE because the train can TP right to them while you have to walk end to end each time gets real old real fast.

Change the TP requirements to 23/25 or maybe even lower, reduce the amount of FATE crystals required a tad, let the light farm start straight away. Do all that and it might even become genuinely enjoyable.

Yeah, making the teleporters available right from the start is an easy fix wich will have a huge impact on the accessibility of Pagos and - Pyros.

There is absolutely no good reason to keep the teleporters locked, but there are reasons to unlock them.

Mainly because it is nearly impossible to find a leveling party to chain monsters. Most people are already 35 and because of the exp penalty you need people on your own level. Plus after they patched the NM exp and light gain people are only interested in the train. Good luck with finding 7 other people on your own level to chain monsters...

The design of Eureka as a whole is a failure. And SE kind of admitted it after they fixed Pagos (to some degree) to bring the train back, wich is the only option where people can actually play cooperative together. They just have to finish the job by removing the needless restriction wich prevents people from catching up by unlocking the teleporters.

I mean, in the rest of the game SE is paying attention that casual players, new players and people who were taking breaks can catch up easily and are not locked out of content. But with Pagos they have failed in that regard. And arguably in Eureka as a whole, since the train was unintended. The real design wich SE intended for Eureka simply has no catch up mechanic and when you missed out the first rush, good luck!

But even when they make the train viable for low levels, there is still the problem that Eureka is not solo friendly and when people move on and Eureka dies out, you pretty much can't play this content anymore.
