MacOS client - give us refunds OR a proper port.

As it stands, this client is garbage and is unusable. It causes frequent kernel panics on all supported version and if that was not enough, the low fps, stuttering and graphical bugs render this unusable anyways.

It costs hella bucks to buy something that is just the windows game emulated poorely by free software that that is scummy and just not fair at all, charging money at all for different operating systems is highly immoral and wrong especially when the port in question barely works.

Even on high end machines the port is not playable since SB, so SE needs to offer us refunds (again) or create a proper port.

It used to be JUST kernel panics which was bad enough but now we cannot even have steady fps and there is extreme stuttering.
And a GAME causing an entire computer to lock up and crash?? this isn't the 90s, come on.

Post your machine specs please. Sounds like something else is going on.

I'm running on a 2013 iMac and aside from running hot (iStat Menus to gain manual control of fans to counter this) I rarely have the issues you seem to be having.

only iMACs are officially supported, so if you are on a macbook of any kind, you are playing on unsupported hardware, and you ignored the official minimum spec reqs. That's not SE's fault.

nope. iMac is not a system spec. They list a Mac Book anyway. They list models because Macs are not highly configurable. If you have Mac OS Sierra, enough disc space, 8GB memory and compatible graphics there is no reason it shouldn't run.

Generally speaking, Apple laptops and desktops from late-2013 onwards with discrete graphics cards (Intel Iris Pro = nope) should be able to run the current Mac client with little issue, barring the occasional incompatibility with a web driver that usually gets patched up by the graphics card vendor within a few days of release.

Granted, it'll run BETTER on the same hardware when in Bootcamp and running natively on Windows OS.

Anyway, we'll see what SE's plans are for the Mac client going forward soon enough, given it's still a 32-bit app and Apple is dropping 32-bit support next year. If they were planning on making any major fixes to the client, now would be the time for their teams to be working on it.

Edit : Hot damn, someone actually got it running well enough on a late-2013 21.5 iMac with an IIP to include it on the applicable model list? I'd love to see how it actually runs. They must have added it around when they dropped support for El Capitan.

And you failed to refute what I said in any way, shape or form. In fact you supported it. iMac is not a system spec. It is a line of computers going back to the 90s.

PC users deal with machine as a collection of parts. Mac users for the most part deal with fixed models. It says applicable, not supported.

I have a mid 2015 Mac Book Pro, 16 GB which has AMD Radeon R9 M370X and Intel Iris Pro. game runs ok, but it could use work. The performance is comparable to less powerful "PCs"

All Valkyrie is saying that if youre having issues with anything that isnt in that list, you cant say SE didnt warn you :P
As you said.. mac is alot more absolute so unlike PC.. they actually can say "your specific device isnt in this list, thus if its not working its not our problem" regardless on how many non-listed devices it would work fine

Yep ...... This surely would be a good place to place a famous quote...
    But lets not.
