So I tried Deltascape V4(savage) last week....

If you can do Exdeath, you can do Neo. Exdeath was arguably more difficult than Neo was when the raid was current, because Neo's only dangers were Almagest and the Grand Crosses (the former of which is a healer check, so as a DPS you don't have to worry about it). Just learn how to do the Grand Crosses and you'll be fine. The entire fight repeats after Grand Cross Omega, and more than likely you'll kill Neo before you see his punchy temper tantrum right before enrage (which is another healer check while the rest of the party burns him down).

I guess I was a bit overwhelmed when watching the guide and how much you need to keep up with

But looking back at it and focusing on the DPS part it seems a bit more managable.

I made it almost to 12% away from enrage so if I found a way with my team to survive the black holes and decisive battle consistently hopefully I might be able to do it

It’s understandable being overwhelmed, especially if you are new to Savage content. It gets less overwhelming the more exposed you are to it, though. So keep your chin up, and keep trying!


If you want to make the content even more brain-dead, I would recommend learning the uptime strat for Grand Cross Delta. As a DPS, you stand on one of the “dorito” triangle markers directly north where Neo is positioned, and do little else other than stop attacking very briefly if you have acceleration bomb. But, since the healers and tanks have a bit more finagling to do during (not much more, but a bit more compared to the “safe strat”), it would ultimately be up to them whether or not to do uptime or safe. But I would recommend uptime, personally.

Question tho:When Grand Cross is casted,does it say which Grand Cross is(Alpha,delta Omega) or it doesn't and that it's on a set script?

Yes, each one has a specific cast bar, and the order is always the same: Alpha > Delta > Alpha > Omega > Delta > Alpha. Neo’s fight is incredibly scripted.
