You simply can't try on these hairstyles that are expensive in either gil or - more importantly - your time.

It's certainly killed my enthusiasm rather than encouraged it.
So true. That's my issue with the hair styles that were added to PVP. I got the latest one with the braid on the right side (See. Avatar) which is my current style but I really don't want to waste 18000 WM on the one added prior to this one as I'm unsure how it will look. I also think part of the issue is I just am not too won over by that hairstyle..this one though...I must have this one.

50/50 chance of winning on Failstrum, Immortal Lames are actually fairly decent same with Twin Badders. But yeah Frontlines is usually tolerable, sometimes even fun.

As much as I dislike PvP I fully agree with this.

It probably comes down to which content they see people are doing the least. If they need more people in PVP instances, or if they need to populate Eureka more to actually be playable due to lack of players.
Since PVE normally is pretty well atm, there seems to be no incentive for them to add anything unique to it.
Maybe if they notice more and more people unsub or don't play normal PVE content anymore, they will start making new unique stuff for that.

At current state, I kinda wish I was back in XIV1.0 version again as even if there was not as much content, at least the game felt to have more heart and soul :/

Yeah, the other one is what I'd put the effort into, and... it's almost a nice style. But the part sits oddly - it's hard to explain but the angle of the hair isn't right, like it's not coming directly off the head, even though they've done similar better-looking ones like the style you're using and the one I'd used for my alt character that I wanted the PVP style for. (I'd hoped it would look like a short version of that style.) It's also shorter at the back than the front, and the layers seem to catch the light oddly, at least in the preview.

(I'd try for the other style if we were able to flip it.)

Yeah, I was playing Frontline with the roulette for the bonus wolf marks. The large group is the only way I wouldn't be completely useless at it - still it's what, 15 or 20 minutes of high-attention gameplay and feeling like a failure because I died yet again. (Also the one time I instead attempted to 'take the scenic route' back to the group - because I'm a lore nerd who wants to actually explore these new locations, plus I want to understand the layout for gameplay - I got kicked from the party.)

If you don't already, I'd recommend taking your BRD to Frontlines if you find you die too easily. That's the only place that my bard gets any action. It's quite nice being able to run and pewpew to your heart's delight. No pesky castbars for you!

Frontline is fairly populated since they locked a different mode by each day. Feast is only not populated past its first weeks because there is no rank decay. And Rival Wings isn't part of the Frontline roulette so no one really registers for it specifically.
