There was a statement released on the 9th. Considering the DDoS attacks have been occurring intermittently since, I presume that the company sees little need to release another statement that would in essence say the same thing. At least for now.I don't know anything about this kind of stuff, but still know enough to know that SE isn't clinking wine glasses in toast to their subscribers not being able to play FFXIV. I even want to say that if I was Yoshi, I would make a public statement elaborating the issue and apologize for the inconvenience, but for all I know, the man can be in the middle of an 18-hour flight and has 500+ emails in his inbox, which maybe like 2% pertain to the DDos attacks. All from the peeps who need confirmation on how to respond to the attacks.

Exactamundo! Don't get me wrong. I want to play too and sympathize with those who are frustrated, but I can't continuously try and shove a square peg into a round hole and expect a different result. I know it is in SE's best interest to keep the game up and running, and that is really all I need to know.
Mad I can't semi afk in Eureka to earn my tomes due to the DCs happening today in the middle of the train run.
Also one statement from weeks ago isn't enough to calm the masses. SE needs to show they care to alleviate the anxious crowd. Some pretty pixelated ingame reward to distract us be nice.
Make it a mount of a boxed server with a crack in it.
