I really do like the ideas you presented....tho Eden from XIII is a bit too futuristic and personally I would imagine Eden's structure to be applied to an Allagan city rather than a Garlean one.

Why not both? The Garleans deeply revere the Allagans and strive to emulate them. Their tallest tower could be designed to be as close to Allagan as they could manage. Or, in fact, it might be an ACTUAL Allagan tower, transported from wherever it was dug up and refurbished.

And, being a fan of the Eden summon, Ascian shenanigans could wind up turning the tower into this game's representation of the Eden summon - though, perhaps, that would run the risk of treading old ground we trod with Alexander. And, also, the old shtick of Allagans tricking folks into summoning.

Yeah might be a bit too repetitive but we'll see what comes in 5.0. We had Alex in HW and Omega in SB, not sure I want another techy focus for the next raid tier.

And even the Binding Coils of Bahamut had lots of tech... at this point, the 8-man raid being tech-based is as ingrained a tradition as the 24-man raid being ancient civilization based...

Personally I'd save all the upcoming allagan stuff related to the main plot for 6.0 cuz we already a lot of Allag story bits in Heavensward's MSQs and in both the Coils and Omega.I'd want Garlemald to get more fleshed out before heading into Allagan lore again
