Do you guys seriously believe that the dev team cares about version 1.0? The servers are still going as long as you the player pays for it. If no one pays, then the servers go down until 2.0. 2.0 is coming whether you like it or not because Wada has to save face and save the numbered-FF franchise. And 2.0 might be more WoW-like than some are hoping for so if you are upset over 1.0, I wouldn't write off FFXIV until we know more about 2.0.

I understand the need to get to the more anticipated content with 1.21. Jobs and 2 new instanced dungeons sounds great on it's own. The last letter said that the 10 day delay is not suppose to affect 1.21. Alright, we'll take that being that there is not much else to go on.

You'll only be charged a month before you get that new content really. A month premature? It's quite possible that is true. Honestly, that one month really just comes down to your faith in the game's future.

The reason the game went free is because everyone left right? Has anyone seen a stable population or even increase in population at all to justify charging for the game? I dont see anyone saying wow look at this, everyone get back in this game it's amazing. most of the current population is just coming back to see if this patch is worth it becuase they are tired of killnig ifrit over and over, tired of getting slightly better gear from coffers after farming for days on end. I mean come on tell me im wrong here. If this keeps up everyone is gonna have 50 dow dom and the game will become a crafting mmo?

According to the Letter from the Producer LIVE video Part II level cap MAY be raised come 1.21, so in addition to new instanced raids, and new classes, we may have to level before farming new raids.

I believe it was more like "We aren't even ready to think about raising the level cap until 1.21 is released." This means no plans are even close to fruition about raising the level cap.

Earliest I'd even think it would happen are 1.24 or 1.25... though raising level cap might go well with the full release of V2.0 and all the content its supposed to have.
