People are not obligated to say anything if they do not want to. I do not mind if people are quiet because we queue up to get a task accomplished.
A conversation is just a bonus. For me it is rude when people flip out at you over the most trivial of things, i.e. someone choosing not to heal me because I asked about their fairy not being out and no protect after 10 seconds after barrier down. Talking can also lead to misery too.

I'm a couple extreme trials from unlocking my Mentor Roulette (warring triad trio and Nidhogg) Planning to do a pf for those that want to practice/learn the fight and then farm it for birds later.
(I'm against the idea of joining farms until you reliably know the fights hence the wanting to practice and learn the fights)
Even though I've not cleared any of those 4 trials I have gotten to sub 5% on all of them so it shouldn't be too big of a struggle to finish.
Wish me luck![]()

Healing DRK is literally... the same since ShB. The reason why people think it's a meme to heal nowadays because DRK receives very little to no buff to their sustainability vs 3 other tanks getting something useful. If you're capable of healing DRK back in ShB (or any tanks), then you'll heal EW DRK just fine.

A couple friends and I queued up for Castrum Abania yesterday and got a uh.
A healer that was less than thrilled to be there, persay.
I was tanking as drk, and I'm a pretty subpar tank but I was there for the practice and the drk weapon. At first I thought they were upset because I wasn't doing as well as maybe they wanted me to; but then I realized that they had purposely ran ahead of me to pull a double pull, and then let me die for the first couple mobs and then laugh emoted.
Okay, maybe their sense of humor doesn't line up with mine, but I wasn't gonna start a fit over it.
I waited until everyone caught up for the first boss before pulling and they walked back out, letting themselves get locked out.
They didn't re enter the arena until I died.
At this point the other parties are pretty miffed. They started to run with us to the next pull, then walked all the way back to the first mob room after I had pulled and tried to vote kick me after letting me die again, which was of course declined.
Our blm mentioned they had recorded the fight via shadow play and they decided to finally rejoin with us.
It wasn't until after the second boss that we vote kicked them because they started rescuing our blm out of the second bosses towers and into aoes.
If you get a dungeon you don't wanna do for roulette, fine, but don't be a dick about it, come on..

Thing is when people get defensive, everything you say from that point on will just make it worse. I toss a hint once and either they take it or leave it, I don't let them drag me into any kind of discussion or argument. Last time was me saying "Facing mobs away from the party would make things go a lot smoother by the way." Got no response but the tank started turning he mobs way from the party, mission accomplished. If they hadn't I would have left it at that, because there would have been no point in going on and on about it. Just get over with the run somehow and the fk outta there and never see them again ^^
You can't help people who don't want help.

This is about where I sit. I mention tips in the chat on occasion. Take them or leave them.
I couldn't care less, but I'm not about to waste even a heartbeat getting involved in arguments in this game. "Have at it your way then.", I say in those instances.
