The snapshotting is bad--like a good half-second off or more--but hardly unique in that regard. Flee an exploding quadrant noticeably before it explodes, and you're hit, but, by the same coin... enter an exploding quadrant just before it explodes, and you're safe. It just reminds me of playing Titan Ex at 330 ms ping: count down, run before animation, run back into animation = safe.

It's counter-intuitive and an eyesore, and I wish such discrepancies would be fixed, but it's nothing that makes the fight impossible or even all that much more difficult.
