Orchestrion Roll 4.4 Drop Rates

Okay, so this isn't about eScape, Land Long Dead, or the new raids or dungeon music drop rates. This is about Beneath Bloodied Banners, and the three movements of Dancing Mad and the ones they added to old dungeons/raids.

Am I the only one who can't seem to get this music no matter how many times they run the content? I've Ran Halatali (Hard) hundreds of times and its never dropped. I can't be the only one, especially given how on Siren, at least, nobody has posted any of the following and the number sold is below 5 on sale history:

Beneath Bloodied Banners
The Ancient City
Tricksome
Upon the Rocks
Decisions

(and neither Decisions or Beneath Bloodied Banners have any sold.)

And don't get me started on Dancing Mad and why in the world they decided to have three of the four movements all in different orchestrion rolls and all have the same low drop rate and all on the same fight.

I'm probably just an orchestrion roll enthusiast, but is anybody else experiencing it? How many are on other servers? Am I just upset over nothing?

Just to reiterate, I'm not upset with the current drop rate of the new music for new content because a lot of people are running it right now and despite the low drop rate there are people getting it.

gotta keep you on that drip. I've run plenty of Lost City hard mode before I got it to drop for me. Friend ran it with me one time - got it their first time. RNGesus. *shrug*

I hadn't actually checked on the new rolls for the old dungeons and Beneath Bloodied Banners, and thought they were probably relegated as drops in the new Uznair maps. Good to know they just come from the dungeons themselves. In any case, best of luck hunting them down! RNG is a cruel mistress, indeed.

I cap tomes weekly, but I didn't even know Ala Mhigo dropped a mount until it was removed from Expert Roulette. Drip feed is one thing, but drought is another...

I got decisions relatively easily but the good news about dancing mad is that more than one can drop at the same time... even if most runs never drop any.

At least I got Dancing Mad movement II. However I'm not paying 2-4 mil on my server for I and III. Going to be killing many clowns in my time.

Same, I was just talking to some friends. The couple that have gotten music from Kefka have Movement II. I wonder if I was wrong about the drop rate there and Movement II is higher drop rate than the other two. Or if it's just a coincidence :/

I had fairly good runs from Halatali (Hard) (6 runs) and Wanderer's Palace (Hard) (4 runs). I had issues with Pharos Sirius (Hard) (22 runs). I also noticed Pharos Sirius' scroll auto dropped into my inventory where as the others were from looting the last chest.

I got all of the raid ones. At least those drop sometimes, just need to win roll against 7 other people. The hardest ones in the game to get are The Ancient City (lost city hard) and Upon the Rocks (pharos sirius hard). These ones you can do 100 runs and never see drop once.

City was added in patch 4.3 and I tried for 4 months, sometimes running it several times per day with no luck. Ended up buying it for 4 million gil recently. I cannot buy the pharos one which was added in patch 4.4 because none are on my world marketboard.

Unless you are extraordinarily lucky you need extreme dedication to get these. The devs really don't want people listening to these songs for some reason. They started using massively worse drop rate for certain dungeon songs this year without warning compared to how easy it used to be to collect music. It's akin to drop rate of getting legendary weapons in other RPGs. I had friends helping me out too trying to get the lost city song. It was sitting at 7+ million gil on my world marketboard for months.
