Still no more Egi glamours

It's been asked several times and at this point if any new egi glamours are expected to be added, then mostly likely they would come with the next expac. I say this because looking at how Demi Bahamut was added, who knows what what the big plan is for Pets moving forward, and the glamour of them may just not be a priority if we get to summon more demi-style types in the future so who knows.

compared to the other summoners of FF which are usually white mages.

Rydia disagrees with this, she had access to Black Magic but could also Summon. Dagger was a Summoner first then a WHM and actually had more debuff/ailment type spells than Eiko (who was the main focused WHM of the game, the healing/support spells reflected that).

I suppose it’s possible they could implement some sort of ‘upgrade’ mechanic, that either permanently upgrades your egis via a job quest, like how carbuncles were upgraded to egi’s to begin with (and provide the three original egi’s as the glamour options) or a job mechanic that allows you to temporarily summon a stronger egi in their place. I imagine; Garuda > Ramuh, Ifrit > Shiva, Titan > Leviathan.
But that seems like quite a lot, at least in comparison with just adding glamours.

If they did do a whole job rework, simplifying summoning and making it more of a burst mechanic than a pet mechanic, using them more like MCH turrets (out for ~30 seconds then “hypercharge” before withdrawing) then there could be more call for actually including all six as proper egi’s with their own moves.
Maybe they’d still follow the same trio of ranged/melee/tank, but in two different tiers, e.g. Ifrit has a 30s cooldown, is out for 60s, and has a 10s supercharge where he deals +50% damage, while Shiva deals 20% more damage than Ifrit anyway, has a 90s cooldown, is out for 30s and has a 10s supercharge where she deals +100% damage.

But failing that, glamours.
